The cookbook of invisible writing by Amy Sue Wu

The artist has done a thorough research into invisible inks. In this book she also includes chapters outlining the history around tactics people employed to hide their messages to bypassing censorship and surveillance. The book promotes papers and invisible inks as a safer and more protected form of communication. It also demonstrates how coded language has helped marginalized communities to bond over oppressed environment.

She also holds several exhibitions that linked to this idea of invisible inks and steganography practice.

One of them is ” The Kandinsky Collective”. In the exhibition, Amy invites audience to spray, burn and use different materials to find hidden messages within the exhibition.
