The short film traces the filmmaker’s childhood, recalling  the experience of wearing a hijab as a young schoolgirl. The uniform becomes a quiet force that shaped her understanding of girlhood—defined by what was forbidden rather than what was allowed. This mixed-media film makes use of materials with stop-motion combine with 2D animation in a very clever way to explain the complicated feeling of the character.
