This is a poster for the fictional pirate radio station that exists in the world of Fallout 76. The visual identity of this poster inspired my radio posters for ‘Bob’s Alien Radio’, a fictional radio station that I created for my first Unit 7 E&E group project.

This radio station also includes fictional audio advertisements on the radio, which I drew inspiration from when creating advertisements of my own.

Our decision to put this radio recording that I had made onto a tape and play it on an ‘alien modified’ boombox somewhat developed from the existence of analogue technology in the world of Fallout. We developed the idea that aliens may bring an analogue resurgence as means to avoid government broadcasts and eavesdropping, rebelling against the government.
