‘Toy Stories’ sprung to my mind when we were creating collections of objects in our unit 5 writing workshop and how objects can create a narrative. The collections of ‘toys’ these children display reveal so many clues about their livelihoods, thus provoking a deep-dive into object-narrative connection.
