1959- The House of the Day after Tomorrow

In 1959, architect Ole Helweg was inspired by this idea.

And built an exhibition hall that is also cylindrical.

It is also used to show the space where human beings will live in the future.

Swedish designers Torsten Johansson and Poul Henningsen assisted him.

PH cone chandeliers fluorescent chandeliers

Although Poul Henningsen has always disliked fluorescent lamps, he also called it the light from the toothpaste.

He specially designed 15 PH cone chandeliers for The House of the Day after Tomorrow project.

The design time of this lamp is one year later than the acclaimed PH Artichoke pine light.

Although it has come to the “future” now

This chandelier still has not entered our lives.

It represents a utopian bold experiment and fantasy of future life.
