Alice in Borderland follows a gamer named Arisu and his friends, who are suddenly transported to a parallel, deserted Tokyo where they must compete in a series of deadly games to survive. Each game is tied to a playing card, and the type of game is determined by the card’s suit. Participants have visas that expire, and if they don’t extend them by winning games, they die. The plot involves forming alliances, betraying one another, and fighting against other players and mysterious game masters to find a way back to their world.
