Between 1976 and 1978, Dr. Fakhouri was in the habit of carrying a photographic camera with him wherever he went. He exposed a frame of film every time he came across the sign for a doctor’s or dentist’s office. The resulting trimmed photographs were pasted in Notebook Volume 57 and organized by medical or dental discipline.
