This is a section on the Neocities website where users can browse through thousands of public Neocities websites made by thousands of, if not more, users.
Neocities is a platform made as a spiritual successor to Geocities which was a website hosting and creation platform that allowed users to make their own websites. Its mission is to provide a platform which brings back the ‘fun, creativity and independence that made the web great.’
The browse section on their website is a great place to look at if you are ever in need of design inspiration when it comes to web-games, blogs, websites and so so so much more (people use these sites in so many insanely creative ways).
For my Unit 6 project, pages that went in my zine were directly inspired by the style of many websites from this page. Also, the Frutiger Aero Archive is one of the most popular websites built on Neocities and I that was helpful to my project.
