This poster series by Jean Pierre Consuegra transforms surveillance interfaces into vibrant design statements. Starting around 2024, he repurposes x-ray scans, CCTV camera frames and pop-up windows into event posters full of neon colour and cut-out photography. The work flips the logic of monitoring into something playful, letting club-goers and viewers sense both the gaze of control and the freedom of subculture. At its core this series is about how surveillance culture enters everyday visual life, and how we can reclaim it through design.
