Brass Eye was a highly controversial and influential British satirical television series created by Chris Morris. A spin-off of his earlier show The Day Today, the series parodied the sensationalist and hyperbolic style of current affairs news programming in the UK. A series of six episodes aired in 1997, followed by a notorious special in 2001.
